Welcome to Peniellets.

The Preschool Department of Peniel Academy.We provide high-quality early childhood education and care for our young learners. Our department is designed to foster a nurturing environment that promotes holistic development, preparing children for a lifelong love of learning.

Our curriculum focuses on developing essential skills in three key areas:


1. Cognitive Development: We encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through engaging activities and play-based learning.

2. Affective Development: Our educators nurture emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and social skills to help children develop positive relationships with peers and adults.

3. Psychomotor Development: We provide opportunities for children to develop fine and gross motor skills through play, sports, and creative activities.


Our Preschool Department consists of three main classes:


1. Creche: Our Creche class provides a safe and loving environment for our youngest learners.

2. Nursery: Our Nursery class is divided into two sub-groups: Nursery 1 (A, B, and C) and Nursery 2 (A, B, C, and D).

3. Kindergarten: Our Kindergarten class is also divided into two sub-groups: Kindergarten 1 (A, B, C, and D) and Kindergarten 2 (A, B, C, and D).


In total, we have 15 subdivision classes, excluding Creche.

Our Preschool Department is staffed by 24 dedicated educators and a coordinator, who work together to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for our 370 students.

Our Kindergarten 1 and 2 classes offer a comprehensive curriculum covering four core subjects:


1. Numeracy: Developing foundational math skills and concepts.

2. Literacy: Fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication.

3. Creative Arts: Encouraging self-expression and creativity through art, music, and drama.

4. Understanding the World: Exploring science, social studies, and cultural awareness.


Our Nursery 1 and 2 classes focus on three core subjects:


1. Numeracy: Introducing basic math concepts and skills.

2. Literacy: Developing foundational reading and writing skills.

3.Creative Arts: Encouraging creativity and self-expression through art and play.

Our regular academic activities include:
Reading and exploring language
Presentations and group work
Writing skills development
Tele-time (story time)
Library visits
Numeracy activities
Role-playing and dramatic play

We also offer a range of co-curricular activities to promote physical and social development, including:
Word hunt games
Running races and sports
 Fruits day and healthy eating promotions
Sack races and obstacle courses
Action word games and movement activities
Lime and spoon races
Fill the bottle games
Musical chair games
